Six original songs inspired by time spent hunting public land in the west. A desire to hunt for meat runs deep in my family. I learned to shoot and hunt when I was 12 year old. My grandfather, Ned Randle, and aunt, Tes Randle, where my mentors. They began by teaching me to be a safe, smart and ethical hunter. I learned to hunt for the freezer and not the wall. Thirty two years later I am still at it, now with my teenage son who has tapped into the DNA of a hunter.
These six songs are stories of experiences in the west hunting for wild game. A couple are stories of success, a couple are experiences that ended in a un-filled tag, but a game bag full of memories. One is a fictional story, but as time passes and the more I sing it realize that it is true.
